3/7/2018 7 Comments Week 10 - MinimalistThis weeks theme is Minimalism and to me this is the image that sprung to mind when I thought of this theme. With his beautiful red coat and lovely brown eyes I felt that the black velvet would enhance this. To me this shows his personality off with his cheeky smile which he gives when he is up to something. Taken with my Canon 6D with my 24-105 used at 70mm focal length Aperture - F4 Shutter - 1/100 ISO - 100 Minimalism is not only about what you are going to have in your photograph but also whats not going to be in your photograph. When photographing for minimalism I decided I wanted to photograph in a studio situation as this would remove any unwanted distractions. I took the time once I got this shot to take a few more of his predominant features as you can see below. This is a Blog circle, up next is the fantastic Cahlean Klenke from Central Minnesota based About A Dog Photography serving the Twin Cities & St. Cloud areas.

3/7/2018 0 Comments WEEK 9 - WIDE ANGLEMy first week photographing for Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project. With the heavy snow fall in Scotland over the past couple of days I thought I would incorporate my dog with the freezing -3 temperatures and the blue sky's that comes with the Snow. Canon 6D 24-105 Lens Used at 24mm focal length Canon ISO - 100 Aperture - 6.3 Shutter Speed - 1/180 To take this photograph I exposed for the lighting outside doing this would have left Alfie as a Silhouette there for I used my Canon 430 Flashgun and bounce it off the roof to bring light back onto him. Post-Production done in raw to enhance the contrast on his coat to show of his beautiful coloured coat. This is a Blog Circle for Project 52 Pet Photography.
